What we believe.
Nine convictions we build our lives and our ministry on, in plain words.
A simple faith. A strong foundation.
Open any statement to read it. If something raises a question, we would love to talk.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, true and trustworthy, and the final authority for what we believe and how we live.
God
We believe in one God who exists eternally as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and who made everything and loves what He made.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus is the Son of God, born of a virgin, sinless in life, crucified for our sins, risen bodily from the dead, and now seated at the right hand of the Father. He is the way, the truth and the life.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit lives in every believer, convicts the world of sin, and gives gifts for the good of all, including prophecy, healing and words of wisdom. These gifts are for today.
Salvation
We believe every person has sinned and needs a Savior. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not by our own effort, and we are invited to live a new life in Him.
The Church
We believe the church is one family of believers across every nation and language, called to worship together, grow in faith, care for each other and serve the world.
Prayer and healing
We believe God hears and answers prayer. We pray for the sick, the grieving and the stuck, and we trust Him to bring healing, freedom and peace.
Compassion
We believe faith without action is empty. We are called to care for widows, orphans, the poor and the displaced, in word and in deed.
The hope ahead
We believe Jesus will return, that the dead will be raised, and that God will make all things new.
Be kind and tender-hearted, forgiving each other as God forgave you.Ephesians 4:32 (paraphrase)
